I Have to share this message

"Ilene why do you think we put off doing what we need to do knowing it keeps us from reaching our goals"?

We all have so many choices on how to spend our time and until the something being put off becomes important in some way it will continually get pushed to the bottom of the list. When it becomes important we suddenly make and take the time to do it. Trust me, I know! We now make time and take time to go work out now that I am on a serious journey to a healthier me. Traveling is not an excuse, a busy day is no longer an excuse, a family day is not an excuse any more. Thanks to Planet Fitness, they are everywhere and often open 24 hours :)

We do choose to take a day off once a week. And we take the advice of professional trainers who know what is best for us! When something becomes important, everything comes together and you enjoy success.

Would you like to be able to schedule and have a party in just a couple days from today? Would you like a new consultant to join you this week? Take just a few minutes to read the information below.

I know you are thinking, “Ilene, who will want to have a party right away?” Let me paint a picture for you. If you wanted to go shopping and invite a friend to go with you, would you call a friend and say, “Hi, I am going shopping on February 12th. Would you like to go with me?” Or would you call a friend and say, “I am going to start some shopping on Thursday night. Would you like to go with me”?

I have found that the best parties are the ones booked in close. The hostess was enthusiastic, invited the guests right away. She did not put off doing what needed to be done. Her guests did not have time to forget. People generally know more about what they are doing in a few days versus in 2 weeks.

Here are some words to help you paint a picture for potential hostesses. In fact, maybe you can book an evening party and a daytime office event this week as well. Start dialing and smiling. Call everyone and here is some of the language I teach, “Hi Jennifer, this is Ilene. I am calling you today because I really want you to know how much I appreciate you as one of my customers. I am really dedicated this year to helping people have the best customer service experiences ever with me. There are a couple things that I am offering all of my customers. One of the things Jennifer I love to do is help others start home-based businesses too. This time a year is a great time to more or less job test – see if this is something you would enjoy doing. Have you ever thought about doing something alongside your family and other activities to earn some extra income?” If they say; no I am not interested. Then say, I have a goal to introduce the services I am offering to others. I am on a mission to give away $1000 of free products every month this year. How do you feel about being a recipient of some the free products. They are a thank you for helping me introduce my services to others. I have some time this Thursday. I would love to stop by for just a little quick visit and show you some of our current line. Would you like to get some unexpected shopping time this week and gifts you will need in the next few months checked off your list?” If they say yes, then say, “Can you think of some other people who might enjoy that idea too? I can be in and out of your home in an a half hour. I bet there are people who spend that amount of time just looking for a parking space and waiting in line at the stores to make purchases. What do you think? Would you like to be one of my stop and shop hostesses?” If they say no, continue with personal shopping service, asking for referrals, and appreciating their time.

Which Oscar will you bring home?

You are the writer of your own story, and the leading lady or leading man in your own life.  Don't be the understudy!  Do you choose to star in nightmare and terror roles or do you choose to star in happily ever after roles? Think about it for a minute.   Even when things are happening to us, we can still choose the role we will play - faithful, shero, hero, role model, determined, never gives up, villain, scapegoat, just gets by, lazy. So it time for your own Academy of Awards for 2015. Which Oscar will you bring home?

Have you experienced a business rainbow?

I love rainbows! Do you? Have you experienced a business rainbow? Rainbows come during a rainy and a sunny day. Bet that you can have that feeling in your business some days. Why not look for a business rainbow on those kind of days?

A “pot of gold” is at the end of your business “rainbow.” Plant firmly in your mind the benefits of achieving your goal. It may be increased income for yourself and your family. It could be cash to send a child to college. Having a goal is good. Realizing the benefits of achieving a goal is great. Working towards the goal is even better. The pot of gold will then be there. That’s the sweet reward for a job well done.

Who is ready to pick up the phone (really your best friend)?

Call all your customers who have not seen your newest products personally to do an OHPRA call. Start off by saying, "We have had a product launch since the last time we were together and I want to be sure you are kept up to date about the products as well as the services we are now offering. Are you interruptible? Then share equally all the services you offer. This call should take less than 5 minutes.

Has it been a while since you chatted with them after the party or maybe you have never chatted with them? Adjust and say, " "We have had lots of new product launches since the last time we were together. I am now focusing more than ever on customer service! I want to be sure you are kept up to date about the products as well as the services we are now offering. Is that something you would enjoy hearing more about? Are you interruptible? " Then do the full OHPRA call.

Start dialing and smiling! Don't prejudge and be happy you made the call no matter what the results. That is the key! Having a successful business is you feeling that you are doing what leads to success and not letting someone's response determine whether or not you are successful. That is what makes a professional smile emoticon.

Customer service is so important. A relationship starts when someone makes a purchase. I believe that is when you should feel dedicated to developing the relationship through customer service calls around the seasons. It is a great way of showing every customer that they are cared about and valued by you.

Do you plant seeds? Sharing is just that! Do you forget to water those seeds (follow up)? Remember, it takes time and effort to grow a garden. Some seeds will grow and some will not. Have you ever spent time worrying about the seeds that did not grow or do you enjoy the seeds that do? Start doing more planting and less worrying about seeds that do not grow in your business.

Do you have a big heart when it comes to wanting to help others with your business?

Do you have a big heart when it comes to wanting to help others with your business?

I love giraffes. They have the biggest heart in the animal kingdom Do you like giraffes? Are you like a giraffe? Do you have wobbly legs when it comes to doing new things for your business? Do you need a little nudge to get you going in the morning and to start working on your business?

Do you have a big heart when it comes to wanting to help others with your business? Are you searching for nourishment to help you grow strong? A mother giraffe gets the baby giraffe up and going with a gentle nudge (kick), believing they are ready for the world. Have you heard others say, "I know you can do it" just like the giraffe believes in her baby? What do you do when you hear that? Do you get up and start exploring the possibilities around you or do you just sit back down and find yourself in the same place month after month? It is only April 2 and instead of wishing that you could have a full calendar for the month, choose to be more like the giraffe, and get out there and experience all the world has to offer you when working from the heart.

Which animal are you most like when it comes to your business and why? Which animal would you like to be like and why? I love feeling like the giraffe, big heart, willing to stretch, and always wanting to look up, choosing to have a positive attitude.
