Tobin Attending one of Ilene Meckleys seminars is an absolute must if you are in the Direct Sales Business to succeed! I attended her Sharing & Caring Seminar this week and never wanted it to end. Ilene's Recruiting Language will make anyone feel comfortable with sharing their opportunity and it will make you realize the importance of doing just that. I can't wait until my next Branch Meeting to share Ilenes words of wisdom with my Consultants! If you truly love to share your opportunity, you owe it to yourself and those whose lives you will touch, to attend one of her seminars. |

Smith It is wonderful to have Ilene as a Spokesperson for the Direct Sales Industry that I love so much. I have been in Direct Sales for 30 years this March and can not think of a better career for a woman with a family. I raised my children while working out of my home and am, like Ilene, so very proud of them. They are all wonderful, independent thinking, focused "Big People" and I know that helping me with my Business helped to shape their lives in a positive way. I am so thrilled to have Ilene as a teacher for the Field. We have needed someone like her to present Direct Sales in a positive way and give it the creditability that it deserves. So many sales seminars are not focused on Direct Sales--Ilene's seminars are! I have attended three of them and will attend any time she is in the area. I learn something new every time. Thanks, Ilene, for Sharing and Caring! |

Love Last year and again last night I had the honor of seeing motivational speaker, Ilene Meckley. For those of you that don't know, she was with Discovery Toys for 13 years and won tons of awards, mainly for recruiting. She set records! She did all this while successfully raising 5 kids. Anyway, I'd like to share a little of what I learned last night and highly encourage everyone to attend a seminar of hers. I can only share a little or this letter would be hours long. Maybe some of you do this already, but those of us who don't, we need to - when approaching the lady at the grocery store, etc., start your sentence with, "Are you familiar with Petra Fashions?" You won't sound pushy and they won't feel put upon (a fear for all of us). Know what you will say to her that is under 30 seconds. Think "script". Ask if she is comfortable giving her name and number if she is interested in speaking with you more at that time. If she says she is NOT interested, thank her for being honest. It is no different from her liking chocolate if you offered her a piece of chocolate. It's not against you. Listen to what people say. Don't try and change their minds. People care more that you are listening to their response than anything else. Some people are interested, some are not - find the ones that are interested rather than wasting your time changing peoples minds. Share your business. We teach kids to share everything, yet we tend to not share. Don't hurt people's feelings by not sharing. Sharing leads to paydays. And we love those paydays! Please, for your sake, go to her seminar, buy her book and tapes. She has a booklet that you can give to prospects about becoming a consultant. There is also a coloring book for kids. One of my favorites is her Sharing and Caring Log. Not only are there over 130 tips in this book, but it gives you a list for opportunity, host, personal service, referrals, and appreciation. Her book, "Sharing and Caring", is my "bible." Her tapes are very easy listening and divided by subject, like "Painting pictures With Words". For more info, to sign up
for her weekly newsletter and to see when you can go see Ilene to change
your life, go to her web site www.ilenemeckley.com.
She is a wonderful and special lady. Her knowledge will change your
career and your life! My sales doubled after seeing her last year and
I started recruiting for the first time in 4 years! Don't miss out on
the opportunity of a lifetime. SEE Ilene Meckley! |
